Ten of the Top Countries With Highest Death Toll Due to HIV/Aids

Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection or Acquired immunodeficiency Syndrome (Aids) as it is most commonly referred to is a disease whereby the immune system of the patient affected with HIV gets destroyed over a period of time thus inviting more and more of infections and diseases to attack the patients body and nothing inside of the body to fight against such diseases.

Not much has yet been created or produced in health sector and the research is still on going for the treatment and cure of the disease. Till such time comes, the mortality rate from the one’s affected by the disease is ever growing.

Primary transmission source for Aids is believed to be unprotected sex that includes both oral and or anal sex as well as already used needles, transfer to a child from a mother infected with HIV virus alongside blood transfusion from an Aids patient.

From the very time that HIV/Aids has been discovered by the CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) way back in the early 20th century, there have been reported cases of around thirty million deaths from the disease itself. By reported cases we mean to say, that they are the one that have been recorded by the Governmental health bodies. Due to the nature of the disease and the cultural and religious setback that an individual comes across because of being a patient of a disease and even if he or she is discovered with it, makes them hide it from others. That way it is far more probable for that individual to transmit the diseases without anyone even noticing or knowing which in turn creates a network mostly in those areas where there is les education like rural areas.

According to the latest research conducted in the year of 2010 on the people currently living with Aids, thirty four million such people have been reported. Considered to be as a Pandemic, no vaccination or treatment has yet been discovered for the treatment of the disease wholly or in parts.

There are some parts of the world that are far more affected by the HIV virus and its destructive impacts then other countries or areas in the world. We’re listing those in the order of deceased one’s in the below mentioned list.
